Twin tipped skis versus all mountain?
for sure twin tips are every bit as good as normal AM skis. some twin tip skis are super flexy for ers and nose presses, but if you get a good pair of stiffer skis like the volkl walls, armada ar6s, dynastar trouble makers ect (freeskier magazine does ski ratings and provide all moutain ratings on park skis) ... they are just as good at carving, the only difference is that they have wider waists than standard skis and not much bigger tips so some have bigger turning radiuses. also if you get them center mounted, it is not any worse it just takes a bit of geting used to.
